The International Fertilizer Association IFA, in partnership with the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), invites applicants for the Africa AgTech Startup Showcase. The challenge will focus on six thematic areas, including:
- Soil Health and plant nutrition
- Advisory and information services
- Access to markets
- Supply chain services
- Financial services
Through the challenge, participating startups will have an opportunity to showcase their solutions at the IFA annual conference, network with fertilizer industry experts, and a cash prize of EUR 20,000 to the winning startup.
Interested participants in the AgTech Startup Showcase must fulfill the following to apply:
- Have an existing minimum viable product (MVP).
- Has received less than € 20 million in funding since its establishment from external sources and is less than 10 years old.
- Have an innovative solution to improve crop yield and quality, soil health, nutrient management performance, or facilitate market access.
- Have a product or service that has been operational or has been demonstrated.
- Be active on the African continent or has strong potential to solve one of the continent’s agricultural challenges.
