Are you a green enterprise seeking to scale your business? Apply for the Uganda Green Enterprise Finance Accelerator by 30 November!
The Uganda Green Enterprise Finance Accelerator (UGEFA) is now accepting applications from green Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Uganda looking to scale. UGEFA targets SMEs working in Clean Energy, Green Manufacturing, Sustainable Transport, Sustainable Tourism and Waste Management.
Successful applicants will have access to free customized business development services including opportunities like interactive workshops, peer-to-peer learning, and networking activities with like-minded entrepreneurs. They will also have access to practical tools to manage business growth as well as to discounted loans offered through partner banks, where UGEFA pays back 33%.
Who is eligible to apply?
The program is open to enterprises that meet the following requirements:
- Registered as a private company or organization
- Engaged in the sectors of Clean Energy, Green Manufacturing, Sustainable Transport, Sustainable Tourism or Waste Management
- Operational for more than two years
- Have minimum turnover of UGX 36 million per year
