Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) and RENEW Strategies (RENEW) are inviting woman-owned or -led agribusiness to participate in the first Virtual Training of the African Resilience & Investment Series for Women Executives (ARISE) Program. The virtual training is a call to action to reinforce the capacity of women in agribusiness as they recover from COVID-19 and build resilience.

The ARISE program will provide various elements of support to women in agriculture businesses. It will shed light and raise awareness of the support women-led Agri-SMEs need. To help women in agriculture recover from COVID-19, a multi-agency response approach will be used. The program aims to reach more than 2,000 women in agriculture-focused SMEs across sub-Saharan Africa. It will also provide managerial capacity building, coaching on investment readiness, and pitch to investors, among other elements of support.
