The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Uganda, together with Stanbic Business Incubator Limited (SBIL) and Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited (SBUL), invites you to submit a proposal to an Open Innovation Challenge Fund Call for the Youth4Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship Facility. The call targets MSMEs looking to pilot and or scale their inclusive business models and solutions. The benefits to the successful applicants will include:

  • A competitive matching grant from USD 10,000 to a maximum of USD 40,000 cash/in-kind support
  • Tailored business development services for 12 months
  • Enterprise development training from the Stanbic Business Incubator
  • Mentorship from UNDP accelerator lab to foster business development solutions

 

Who is eligible to apply? 

To qualify for the funding, the business must be registered and legally recognised under the Laws of Uganda. They should be operating in any of the targeted sectors of agriculture, tourism, mineral development, manufacturing, renewable energy, information technology and the creative industry. Applicants must have a product or service on the market.
